I won the Ebaby Photo Challenge last week.

I can't believe I won it. The challenge was "The letter L". I got a fantastic photo of the moon last week and called it Lunar Phase to fit the topic. I was hoping to get another one on Saturday when it was a full Supermoon but it was raining and the moon wasn't visible. So here is my winning entry. :)

Its the weekend at last!!!

Finally after a week of 2 kids with raging temps we have finally turned the corner. Been a really hard week and tiring too. The girls are going over for a sleep over at their nannies house tomorrow night the rest will be so nice. Hope to get into some sewing this weekend. Going to have a go at Appliqué again and make a set for my niece. I have also bidded on a few FQ's on ebay so I really hope I win them. A tweety pie pattern which will look so cute as a nappy cover and applique shirt. :) Think I am getting a bit additive to fabric lately. I have only just started getting back into sewing so my stash is very small but growing fast. lol.

My First Attempt at Appliqué.

I am so happy with how this outfit turned out. I sewed the pants for my toddler Declan. I brought the t-shirt from Target but I appliqued the car, buses and plane then zig zagged stitched around them . Will get a pic of Declan wearing them this week. I had heaps of fun doing them and can't wait to get in and do another set for him. I have some fabric with sharks on them which will look so cute after I finished the pants and top.

Oven Pot Holders.

Well here they are. I am really happy how they turned out. A few people that have seen them have been impressed. :D I had heaps of fun doing them. Just used some fabric I wouldn't usually choose but it was for a older lady and she loves flowers.

I have decided to use the owl fabric I previously said I was going to use for a quilt I want to make my new baby niece.
